Stocking Stuffer Gift Guides
It’s December 9, which means you either have all your Christmas shopping done OR you still have some things you need to buy (if you’re like me). I never got around to making a big, full gift guide like I intended so I made the next best thing: a stocking stuffer or last minute gift guide! Below are some fun ideas in all kinds of price ranges to stuff some stockings before Christmas comes.
For the Homemaker
Fun Coffee Spoon ($6.99): I’m not a cocktail drinker, but I do love cute cocktail spoons to stir my iced coffee! This is one of the ones we use on a regular basis.
Rifle Paper Measuring Tape ($18): For when you need to measure your cinnamon roll cuts, fabric for sewing baby clothes, or furniture for when you’re on the hunt for a new chair—a mini measuring tape is a great thing to throw in your purse or diaper bag for when you need it!
Striped Dish Cloths ($9.99): Personally, my home is always in need of refreshed tea towels. They get grungy pretty quick! Here are some pretty from Hearth and Hand.
Measuring Spoons ($21.95): You don’t have to get these pricey ones from Crate and Barrel, but I love the gold finish and that the measurements are engraved in wood so they won’t wear away.
Sourdough Whisk ($9.99): I bought a couple of these for my sisters-in-law, and they love them for both sourdough and regular baking.
Mini Recipe Planners ($14): I’ve had my eye on these forever, but ended up getting a bigger recipe binder. These are in such gingham patterns with fun colors!
Maldon Sea Salt Flakes ($8): We use this flaky salt every day—on eggs, on salad, on toast with butter. It’s so good.
For the Designer
Blue Light Glasses ($35): I told Uriah this is something I really want this year; with how much I stare at my computer, iPad, and phone, I am in desperate need of protecting my eyes! There are so many cute blue light glasses for a range of prices, so here are a cute, pricier pair from Anthropologie.
Mechanical Pencil ($16): I LOVE a mechanical pencil. I use them for my sketchbook all the time. You can find some pretty ones at Rifle Paper Co or Design Works Ink (2 for $20).
Pantone Post Card Set ($22): Pantone is the industry standard for designers to perfectly color match to their screen (a simplified way to explain this). These post cards are a cute nod to the design industry while also being practical!
Cute Sticky Notes ($3.99): I used sticky notes all the time, and thankfully we live in a world you can buy more than just pale yellow Post-it notes. I love these striped ones!
Aesthetic Colored Highlighters ($9.95): These are pretty highlighters in very muted colors, perfect for Bible reading, taking client notes, or color coding your sketch book.
Wavy To-Do List Notepad ($15): I always have to-do lists everywhere! This one has a cute wavy cut with all the essentials (including reminding your designer to drink water. Very important.)
Metal Cowboy Boot Bookmarks ($14): I use bookmarks everywhere all the time. For my sketch book, my notebooks, my fiction books, for design books. I always need a bookmark, and I love these little boot ones!
Gingham Pencil Pouches ($12): Perfect for all your designer’s favorite pens and pencils. Plus this comes with two sizes and two cute fabrics!
For the Crunchy Gal
Topical Magnesium Spray ($36): Not only does this smell amazing, but it can help relieve aches and pains. I often use it on my back and neck after a long day of carrying a baby around.
Vanilla + Citrus Deodorant ($16): This is the cleanest deodorant I’ve found that actually works. It smells so cozy and stays on all day. Plus it doesn’t irritate my skin like so many natural deodorants do!
David’s Toothpaste ($9.95): All I know if that this is the only fluoride-free toothpaste that I want in my life. My teeth used to be so sensitive, but after consistently using this toothpaste I’ve had no problems. My holistic dentist told me it’s because of the Hydroxyapatite in it.
RiseWell Mouthwash ($23): This bottle lasted me roughly a year (I only used it once a day). Let’s just say it came in handy with my first trimester of pregnancy with all the nausea :) It has a really good mint taste without all the crappy ingredients.
Primally Pure Lip Balm ($6): Primally Pure has great, clean lip balm. Personally I love the Grapefruit option!
Rocky Mountain Oils: I’m not a big oil person, but occasionally I like to use them for various things around the home. I like this company because they’re clean and run good deals. I use peppermint and lemon the most! I also like the Migraine roller for when I get bad headaches or migraines.
Hu Chocolate ($3.70): Yum, these are so delicious. I usually grab a cashew butter filled one, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them!
Bee pollen or local honey: I haven’ met a crunchy person who won’t get excited over some local bee pollen or honey. I don’t have a direct link, but you could try your local Fresh Market, Whole Foods, or little country store on the corner (that’s what we have)
For the Wellness Lover
We Heart Nutrition supplements: I love this company because they are pro-life, pro-baby, and pro-mama. It’s Christian owned and all of their supplements are top tier! I take the Post Natal and Omega-3 supplements every day.
Resistance Bands ($15): I’ve been loving fabric resistance bands because they don’t slip like rubber ones. These are in fun colors and you can easily add into workouts for some extra intensity or take on the go.
LMNT ($13): We use these electrolyte packets at home all the time. They’ve been great for me with nursing and strength training and Uriah loves them after he goes on runs. This is a sample pack, so you can try a couple different flavors!
Anthropologie Dupe Hair Ties ($8): I got these hair ties from Anthropologie years ago and they come in cute colors. This is a cheaper alternative from Amazon that look the exact same. I wear them for workouts, walks, runs, and hikes and they stay in great!
Protein Bars: For the most part, these are pretty clean and have 11 grams of protein. I like the Coconut + Almond Butter + Chocolate Chips one for before or after work outs, or when I’m out running errands. You can buy a box or buy them single (if you want to grab a few flavors).
Goodr Sunglasses ($25): I love these sunglasses! They are made of a grippy material, so they don’t fall off your face when it’s hot outside, specifically if you’re hiking or running.
Face Ice Roller ($5): There are a lot of options out there, but a face ice roller is SO nice. I use mine in the morning, especially on days where I feel my face looks a bit puffy from lack of sleep (mom life!). I have a couple of jade rollers that I throw in the freezer, but you can get actual ice rollers too. There’s many options.
For the Adventurous Dad
(by Uriah Smith, my husband 🙂)
LifeStraw ($9.95): This is a little water filter that you can throw in your backpack when hiking or camping. I got Uriah one last year, and he loved it! Not to mention it gives me peace of mind.
Storm Proof Matches in a Waterproof Case ($11): I’m not entirely sure what scenario these would be needed—perhaps a rainy camping trip? Regardless, Uriah was thrilled to receive these last year too.
Zebra 701 Ballpoint Pen ($7.59): It is all metal and feels good in your hand. It writes good too!
Rite in the Rain Notepad ($14.85): A small notepad (as the name indicates) is not effected by the rain. It literally allows you to write in the rain.
Flashlight ($33.65): Holding your phone as a flashlight gets old pretty quick. It works sometimes, but having a dedicated flashlight makes a big difference. This one has a pocket clip that also allows you to go hands free and attach it to the bill of your hat.
Multi-Tool ($95): Whether its a hangnail, a nail in your tire, or theres a sharp edge that needs filing, when you have a good multi-tool you tend to use it a lot.
Pocket Knife ($61): Everyone opens packages these days, but sometimes you need to cut something more substanstial. This does both.
Titanium Carabiner Keychain ($22): Having a huge keychain with 7 keys you don’t use is noisy and cumbersome. This minimalist keychain keeps everything well organized, and has a low profile.
For the Baby
Organic Teethers ($3.59): Abel has been enjoying these as he gets more and more teeth in. They’ve been great to keep him entertained on walks or drives because these are easy to hold by little hands, and they basically melt in his mouth.
Peter Rabbit Pouches ($1.79): Abel loves these pouches. The ingredients are super clean and they have some fun flavors! I don’t buy them as often because they are pricey for pouches, but it makes for a fun special treat.
Itzy Ritzy Rings ($7): I use these for everything with Abel. He loves chewing on them, so I’ll attach little teethers to the rings in his stroller or on his high chair so if he throws toys they are easy to throw back in. Sometimes I’ll put his paci on them too when I forget a paci clip!
Tubby Todd Bubble Bath ($17): A clean bubble bath option is HERE. I snagged this for Abel on Black Friday for his stocking since he loves playing during bath time.
Paci: I know this doesn’t seem very fun, but I could always use more pacis. I bought a double pack of BIBs for Abel in mocha and green colors, but you can always get what pacis your baby loves best!
Art Palette Press Toy ($15): Abel loves this toy! It’s very cute, especially as someone who loves to paint, plus it’s entertaining for him to push the rubber buttons.
Snowman Rattle and Crinkle Snowflake ($10): I saw these at Target multiple times and thought they were so cute. I never picked them up, but I like that they’re festive and wintry!
Baby Beanie ($12): Perfect to keep their little bald heads warm all winter!
