in beauty & glory conference
The In Beauty and Glory Conference was a one-night event for women in central Virginia to come together and study God’s Word and worship together. The focal point of the event was Isaiah 61, which is rich with beautiful visuals. I worked with the women’s ministry team at Thomas Road to create a solution that encompassed a glimmer of the beauty of the passage. Since this project was close to my maternity leave, the amazing Communications team at TRBC picked up where I left off and made the badges and cards you see below.

PROJECT DETAILSThe women’s conference was based on Isaiah 61, so I tried out quite a few options based on conversations we had around the passage. We knew we wanted something very warm and bright to represent the “glory” on display in the passage. I also tried out a few crown concepts in reference to the latter half of the passage. Below you can see some of the initial brainstorming and concepts for the conference!
